Meet Doug Englert
Doug Englert grew up in Mountville, Pennsylvania, as one of six brothers, spending much of his childhood on farms with friends. Those early experiences in nature sparked a lifelong passion for the outdoors.
He went on to study wildlife and geology in California, but when his family needed him, he left school to help run their business, Sound Bank Electronics, which is still serving Mohave County today. Though he found success in the family business, Doug always felt the pull of nature and open land.
In 1996, that calling led him to a 32-acre property in Kingman. What started as a simple idea—growing a few trees—quickly turned into a labor of love. Over the years, Doug has transformed the land into a tree farm, where he now spends his days cultivating fruit, nut, and Christmas trees and helping others do the same.
More than just a business, M&D Trees is a passion project that has become a way of life—one that Doug is excited to share with every customer who visits the farm.
